Lifebreath Clean Air Furnace

Testimonials

This is or was a newly constructed home when I and my wife moved in 3 years ago. We had to ask a few questions in order to completely understand the operation of the furnace since the contractor left no information. The air quality has improved. We like how the operating furnace draws fresh air in and extracts stale air. The furnace has a standard size filter so the installation of good quality filter is easy. We also experienced decreased humidity and moisture by having a humidistat separate from the thermostat, which allows me to set the humidistat at a comfortable level. The Lifebreath Clean Air Furnace reduces energy. There is now only 1 source of heat; the hot water tank heats the water for dishes etc. and supplies hot water via a pump to the furnace hence only one source of heat. Health problems have improved due to a continuous change of air while furnace is bringing in fresh air. House is more dust free.

I installed a Lifebreath system in our new home in June 2004. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the air quality. It seems more breathable and there is less condensation on the glass. I have been happy with this purchase. I have 2 small children and the amounts of sickness due to colds, etc. has decreased. I would recommend this system.

We built a new home last fall and moved in early December 2004. Both my wife and I have dust and cat allergies. With this air exchanger, we have noticed a big difference in the air quality in our home vs . the condo where we lived before. We are very pleased with the Lifebreath Air Exchanger!

I just wanted to let you know that I am very happy to have had a Lifebreath system installed in our home. I had it installed for a moisture problem during the winter months. It has done a great job of taking care of the moisture on the windows. It also seems to be more comfortable during the winter months. Thanks for producing such a great, affordable product.

My breathing is much easier since we installed the fresh air system. I have asthma and allergies and the air in our house seems so much cleaner and lighter. We have friends in Nebraska and when we experienced their system, we knew we wanted to put one in our new home. The system seems to change the whole house smell when I cook something with an unpleasant aroma. We aren't sure how to clean the filter. We have plenty of literature on the system but not that.

In regards to the new Lifebreath HRV we had installed in our new house, all I can say is that “it's great”. We previously lived in an older home and didn't have an air exchanger. We always had to have a dehumidifier going in the summer and a humidifier in the winter, but they were never as efficient as our air exchanger. We don't have a window in our new bathroom and I had expressed my concerns to the contractor about humidity in there. I thought there should be some kind of vent. He assured me it was not necessary with the air exchanger and he was right. We never have a fogged up mirror in the bathroom. With two teenagers in the house, there are lots of showers taken and we never have a humidity problem. We have only been in our house for 8 months but so far I have nothing but great comments about our air exchanger.

Before we purchased and installed the Lifebreath HRV, we had a lot of moisture on our windows, especially during winter months and our house was very damp year round. Before we went ahead with the unit, a specialist came over to explain our problem. Firstly, there was not enough insulation in the attic (was not to code – house built in the 1950's) our bathroom fan was vented into the attic, not outside, creating condensation in the attic and fumes, and the air in the house was not circulating, creating moisture on the windows and mold in the corners of the house. He then explained the benefits of having the HRV unit in our house and to our health. Before installing the HRV unit, we had renovations done to our house with an addition put on. From here, we took out all of the old insulation from the attic, had a complete new roof put on and have new insulation blown into the attic.

Ever since the HRV unit was installed, we have had no condensation on our windows and we can now breathe healthier in our house. The HRV unit is an excellent unit and has helped us and our kids live a healthier life.
