Lifebreath Total Recovery Ventilator (TRV)
Today's homes require controlled ventilation to improve the Indoor Air Quality and maximize energy efficiency. The TRV is designed for moderate/temperate geographies (specifically Mid-Atlantic and East Coast U.S.) with winter temperatures below freezing and summer conditions that are hot and humid [>75°F and 65% Relative Humidity (RH)].
How it works?
The Lifebreath TRV is a new concept in ventilation that provides the compounded benefits of moisture transfer with unmatched heat recovery in a single unit. This new configuration is specifically designed for moderate/temperate climates where the heating and cooling seasonal loads are similar, and is the only way to ensure year round temperature and moisture transfer.
The Lifebreath TRV transfers heat in the winter and humidity in the summer to help reduce ventilation loads by up to 90%. The Lifebreath TRV core reduces humidity in the incoming air stream by transferring water molecules to the exhaust air stream. The Lifebreath TRV core utilizes a non-cellulose membrane that allows water to pass through but not air, and won't deteriorate with constant exposure to moisture. It is the only water-washable TRV core available.
